All of my pages have been updated nearly daily, but the updates section itself is getting stale! Time to review what's been happening the past couple of weeks!

TimeScapes, my online comic, finally launched June 4th. The comic will continue to update 2-3 times a week.

In the gallery...
Fantasy Art got two new angels, a unicorn and a realistic style fairy.
Zodiac Series got a Cancer and an Aquarius.
Commissions/Trades/Gifts got a new demon pair in the trade section, and gift art got a new drow and dragon, plus some spiffy gryphons.
Fanart got a new picture of Rune Venus from El Hazard.

The new gallery still continues to be built behind the scenes. There's some special treats in addition to the other areas of interest I previously mentioned :) I can't wait till the site is redesigned and on the better server fully!

BIG NEWS : NeonDragonArt.com is moving to a new server and will be bigger and better then ever! The new site should be up in 1-2 months and will feature:
1. The ability to comment and give your imput on an image.
2. The 2 long awaited tutorial additions: Cel Style part 2 and Hands & Claws.
3. An online forum
4. All of the interests currently found on dragon shadows... but on a server that doesn't have as much down time and has more bandwidth for me to play with!

Happy New Year! I had a very interesting New Year's Bash yesterday... Jessica did not get into bed until late. Luckly, not only did we had a designated driver, but the whole car seemed to take it upon ourselves to be a designated car. XD Well, it was fun anyway.

One new piece. The art sale here at school went well. I sold 3/4 of my prints within two hours and then left because I didn't feel like sitting there another 4 hours. I will now be able to go Christmas shopping! I'm so glad that people here can appriciate my dragons and critters.

Oh, my roommate and I put up this rather odd webpage. It's only funny if you go to CCAD and reside on the 3rd floor of the dormatory. It's filled with about 50 inside jokes and probably won't load on most browsers as it is not an html file. It's only funny for the visuals, which probably won't load, as stated. Enjoy: Proof that vampires exist and that CCAD has cheap windows.

Crosswinds has deleted all of my accounts. I have put up a temporary main page. The skins page is gone as is the HTML tutorial. I'll eventually put them back up but this will take some time. Elfwood is also down, so I am an unhappy camper. If you would like to donate some server space let me know, but it must not have any banners!

Various art galleries in Visions have gotten new art totaling 10 new pieces. In addition Fantasy Art was put up adding an additional 22 pieces.

Been gone a while. There's actually a pretty good reason behind that. I had to have my entire harddrive replaced... again. I have been very lazy lately, mainly because I lost all of my big updates and have no way to recover them. I lost the 3 new winamp skins that were going to launch the mirror site, I lost several pieces of art, and I need to rescan 100 Sakura images. I'm finally over and and working again. Here are some fresh art updates:

The Elfwood Fantasy Gallery has lots of new art.

Opened a Scifi Gallery in Elfwood and that has 7 new images.

Opened a Fanart Gallery in Elfwood and taht has 10 "new" pictures.

Right now art is my top priority. I'm heading to college August 25th to major in art, and I want to keep in practice. I'll be working on finishing and updating my art site, then we'll see what gets worked on next. Sakura Illustrations is in trouble as Homestead will no longer be offering free webspace. I'm not sure that I'm willing to pay to host a bunch of cheap scans. I'd rather pay to host my own work. If anyone knows of good, free webspace with minimal advertising, please let me know. I need about 15mb.

We had one last party in Artisans today. (the school's artclub which has basically become a geek haven... I consider this a very good thing.) I'll miss Artisans and SITES (the school's community service group). But I think that's about all I'll miss from High school. College looks so much harder, thus it will be soooooo much better. I'm a sucker for punishment.

TheBorg has been watching Eva and pointed out that they have an uncanny nack for walking in on girls while they are changing. I always thought that happened in just about every anime, but maybe it's just me. Ah well, the majority of animators are male, let them have their fun so long as they continue with PLOT. As for updates....

The Winamp Links section has been updated patially. I still have a load of skinlinks to go through on anipike ~_~;;;; Now all I need to do is update the sakura links, the general links, and the art page links. Gee, I'm such a considerate person. I remember to link to other people's websites once ever FLOOKING 6 MONTHS!!! Gah, I'm a slacker, but at least I admit it.

More art in progress (as if we need that) As well as 2 winamp skins. The Sakura Illustrations Page has seen another page uploaded, as well as all files moved onto .html extensions. I always saved my text files as .htm and homestead thought I used thier dookey page builder. Well, that's one annoying banner out of the way...

The skins page has seen one new skin and I almost have the primary server for it ready to go! Topcities will be hosting the skins page, as well crosswinds acting as mirror sites. Basically, crosswinds is very unrealiable for loading anything over 100k, so topcities will be the recommended server. Crosswinds will act as a backup in case the topcities server is under matinance or any other such nonsense.

TimeScapes My new online manga is up! Only 6 pages though... poo... The pages are coming at about 1 every 2 days.

Elfwood has seen the largest update of all. Over 8 new pieces. Finished my commission a ways back, so I put a new one up on e-bay. No bids as of yet...

Rant: Has anyone besides me (and Ed) noticed a severe decline in the quality of Sesame street over the past 5 years. I've seen some of the older eps and the jokes in it are funny for people of all ages. They made a parody out of just about everything and originality was high. In the new one, the music sucks and Elmo is suddenly the star (because all the parents just love him and his cuteness) I fear for the next generation....

That about concludes it for updates. I am currently in the process of moving my galleries (as you can see) and my winamp skins to topcities. I have finished the Yukito skin, but will not post it until everything is on topcities. Right now I am dead-tired and ready to kill some Officemax employees. I'm such a good little co-worker ^__^

...granted, I should also probably check out a library book or two, because I have never read an HTML book, just viewed source code and used logical guesses to figure it out. At least I don't have to worry about plagerism...

Uploaded nearly all the images for the rest of the pokerdeck in CCS Illustrations collection. Unfortuently, Homestead died on me before I could add the last 3 plus the coding that lets you access it ~_~;;;

On that same note, I am moving all my art and winamp skins to topcities as crosswinds stops downloading files halfway through for both. This is taking a lot of time and effort and it stunts the growth of both pages because I have to maintain the old stuff before I can make some new stuff! Ok, that's kind of a lie, because I have still been creating art and have started a SS Yukito skin XD ...still, it's annoying having to re-upload everything and fix the coding to match it. I hope topcities continues to behave itself because crosswinds and homestead are getting on my nerves ~_~

It's sad really, because I have vague ideas on creating a half dozen other sites, but if I cannot maintain the sites I have, it may not be worth the effort. Among these are:
1. An online comic site for TimeScapes
2. A Slayers Image Gallery plus Media

I've been away for a week in Appalachia doing service. If I haven't answered your e-mail yet, I will!

On that same note: Appalachia was an expirience that I will never forget. I got to serve at Waterloo Wildlife Reservation (turkey season :p I kind of got a little too into it...), Meals-on-Wheels, and HeadStart. While Waterloo was an environmental adventure, Meals-on-Wheels and Head Start where an experience to be remembered. In the Appalachian region, houses are litterally several miles apart. Some of those people where so isolated; I think I was the only face they saw that day... HeadStart was fun, because I enjoyed playing with the little kids. The one little girl would not stop hugging me or begging for a piggyback ride O_o Ah well, I feel good and will continue to pat myself on the back because doing a lot of service in one space of time makes you want to do those things.

I'm uninteresting. Sue me; I do not rant online. Meet me in public and you will get an earful :p On that note: Falling cats reaaaaaalllllly needs a new layout. I'll think about it this weekend, but at the moment I am far to tired to deal with more HTML. I really should learn some new HTML or maybe DHTML, but simple tables and image maps are so easy.... As for more randomness: I now have an Ebay auction for an art commission going on. No is bidding ;_;

My computer.com dumped all my counters!!!!! DIE! DIE HORRIBLE BLOODY DEATHS!!! (or sit for 20 years rotting in a prison camp in a third world country) I replaced 2 of them with new counters set at the last number I remember seeing. Granted I've proably lost 200-700 hits on each one, but that's besides the point. I live for the patronage of others...

On another note, Dragon Ellipse has seen a new skin, an updated FAQ, and an updated links section. THAT was long overdue. I am almost finished with an incredibly cute yukito skin...

More art on the way... I'll really have to stop using Elfwood for my new art and actually take the time to update my artpage. It's so old now...

It's been quite a busy weekend. The Mighty Dork Came over to visit Kojiro, The Borg, and I. We completed a music video for his class done to the Spanish version of "I'm too sexy." It was rather humor-oriented. (ie: a dozen 13-year olds chasing MD around and hosing him off, MD wearing pounds of hair gel while sporting a very tight muscle shirt... he just needs muscles to go with it O.o) Ah well, the video turned out super-spiffy. Onto actual updates....

Finally Spiral, a new Fushigi Yugi winamp skin. It'll be uploaded in a couple days.

...and back to rant. Finally watched some Evangelion and it is now rivaling to be my favorite series. I've been told by a reliable source to stop watching at ep 24 if I really want to keep it that way...

Wow, has it been a long time! The webpages actually have continued to be updated, but I haven't posted the changes in the "updates" section. (aka: here) Let's see now...

Card Captor Sakura Illustrations Collection got a 4th page to the artbook section, and all images have been uploaded for the pokerdeck, I just have to code the HTML so you can access them!!!

Elfwood has seen a *huge* update. Ton's 'o new art. (ok, maybe 8 or 9 pieces, but to me that's a lot!) New pieces have a red border.

I have nearly completed the Tamahome skin, and it is looing kick @$$. I just neda do a couple of things to th titlebar and make the playlist.

The art page should see an update somtime soon, but for now, keep checking my Elfwood gallery.

Made a new Tamahome wallpaper. This is also going to be the base image for my next skin. For those of you who are probably not wondering, The tamahome image came from the back of one of thoes pioneer tapes. It took forever to clean the text off that sucker! The wierd pentagram is from my CCS illustration collection XD

This wallpaper looks best when you turn the color behind the icon text to a nice dark red. Very dark ^__^ 600x800 or 768x1024. This wallpaper thing is addicting...

OfficeMax today was rather interesting. My supervisor was learning Spanish, so she inquired what all the dirty words where. We rattled off about 10 or so and then she asked for translations. I was vocalizing what "el caca del torro" meant when an old lady passed by the service center just in time to hear me say Bullshit quite loudly. She reported us to the big scary manager and yelled at him too ~_~ It was funny at the time, but the manger made us all stay an hour and a half after closing to "clean up the store" Riiiiiiiiiiiggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhht.

That was not quite as entertaining as the time that a lady had a giant iguana stuffed up her coat and we thought she was shoplifting, or the time that I was told to stealthy sneak around the cars to get the license plate #of a suspected theif. I had mission impossible going on in my head throughout the fiasco ^__^

Visions has a load of broken links. Crosswinds is dumb; I need a new server. bleh.

The third page of Card Captor Sakura Illustrations is finally finished. I hope to get the pokerdeck up before it hits Anipike in a few days. Oh, and for those of you who e-mailed me, I will be adding some images from the 2nd artbook and the mangas themselves, but it will probably result in my having to take down some of the less appealing images allready there. I could always put them on another page... provided I could ever find a good server.... (recommendations please? I like free, but am willing to pay ~$30 a year)

CCS, my newest obsession. I finished watching 4 consecutive eps, and now feel like I am on a sugar high. The manga is better, IMO, but the anime is kind of nice because they move, talk, and such.

On a related note, I just took a CCS personality quiz. I'm most like Eriol, which kind of dissappoints me. (I was hoping that I would be most like kawaii Yukito.) Being like evil boy is pretty cool though, so I'm fairly happy.

Card Captor Sakura Illustrations has seen an image update. I've decided that I'm not going to upload each and every image, as I previosly planned to do. I'm just going to upload the ones that I feel reflect the artbook best or would make supirior web graphics. There should be around 60 of the 85 images uploaded from the artbook in the end, as well as the entire 54 images from the pokerdeck, and however many I choose from the 2nd artbook (waiiiiii!) I need to update the links section, as I allready had two people ask me where to find the original manga. I find this extremely odd, as the collection is only linked from my main page as of yet...

The X winamp skin is finished. I will put it up for download sometime this weekend. I am *extremely* pleased with how it turned out. Very delicate and beautiful. *.*

Last, but not least, I have whole crapload of new art that needs to be uploaded. I don't know if I'll find the time this weekend or not. Winter formal is tomorrow! (waaaaaaaiiiiiiii!) Pritty dresses for dragon...

Crosswinds is still not letting me upload. I have all the images and html done for the new domain and darn it, I want to link up to my new pages! This is the main reason why I won't fork over the $15 to get rid of the pop-ups: why pay for a server you can't even use?

I have 3 new websites, and I would really, really like to add them, but crosswinds seems bent on not letting me have any fun. (things are sad when html is fun, ne?)

Well, Dragon Shadows should be seeing a new look with more sites and a navigation system that does not include an image map. When the map doesn't load, you just can't get around the site. Major bummer.

...and now I'm a valley girl. It is far to late for me to be thinking, I passed the sanity point long ago.

My fellow member of The Dork Side, The Borg wrote this rather humorous essay concerning his conception of time for English. I found it rather enlightening:

"Time had always been a meaningless concept to me. The universe was so infinite that it makes our concept of time seem like nothing but a random idea created to add order to our seemingly random and minor existences. Thus I never did know precisely when my half period study hall ended, but I did know that its end was brought about by the encountering of the big clock hand with the number twelve. Using this information to my advantage I was always ready to release myself from the confines of room 426 and launch myself with all my heart to the most desired place in the universe between the meaningless times of 7:45 AM and 3:15 PM. This glorious creation, considered by me to be Academic Nirvana, the release from scholastic pressures, was known to most as the aptly named Cafetorium, which served as a mess hall and an assembly hall for the entire student body.

This glorious place, not only containing a magnificent disco ball in the center of the high rise ceiling, was the only area in the school where socializing was an acceptable activity not to be reprimanded by uptight substitute parental units known as teachers. It was the only place in the school where my friends and I could discuss our fictional plans for world domination, and our feelings on the latest sci-fi TV and movie releases.

Although all these qualities attributed to my liking of this particular area of my crowded high school none compared to the ultimate reason, nourishment. By the second half of fifth period, whatever time that might’ve been, I was famished and in need of the famous Double Fry Jean and a slice of pepperoni pizza, not to mention one milk and my choice of juice drink. The one and only serious obstruction to reaching this Academic Nirvana was the line. My overwhelming affection towards this place was hindered due to the same feelings being held by practically every other pupil and faculty member in the building.

Not even my single-minded bolt down the hall was ever fast enough to reach the Cafetorium before the never ending, never contracting line of death was formed. The line was the one obstacle keeping me from Academic Nirvana! Only here was it that the meaningless concept of time began to take shape and become a heavy weight on my shoulders. I believe that all would have been well and right in the world if it weren’t for the most dreaded scum of the universe, cutters. Cutters are, in essence, inherently evil people. A cutter is a person who uses his or her social status to obtain a spot in the line far ahead of everyone else. Upon reaching the line I usually found it to be relatively short, but this was only due to the fact that I had reached the line before it had begun to form into the hulking, undefined blob that it became once the cutters began randomly inserting themselves into it. The line was compromised of two segments: the segment where you order, pick up and pay for your food, and the segment where you wait to place your order. Cutters usually attack the in between area, thus frustrating all occupants of the second segment of the line, which tended to include me.

Well, normally, being the quite non-violent type, I never would’ve considered the option of using force to regain the composure of the line, but I was fed up with the blatant ignorance by cutters of other peoples God given right to get their lunch in the consecutive order in which they arrive at the lunch line.

From what I had gained about the workings of space-time, the earth’s rotation around the sun is increased when you are forced to wait for something that will only exist for a limited amount of time, thus increasing the speed of light, which is a universal constant only when time is unimportant, thus decreasing the actual amount of time allowed to eat and socialize. This concept was lost to cutters, who don’t give a hoot about such things like the space-time continuum and the constant changing expansion of the galaxy. At some point during my Junior year in High School, I’m not sure what specific point since time was irrelevant at the point in my random and minor existence, I decided it was time to take up arms and fight this constant evil. I rallied my forces, my wittiness and myself, and began to concoct my battle plan my battle plan. I decided that I would have to destroy the cutters by using their own evil ways against them.

On the day that my attack came the line was undeniably longer than usual. It seemed that every cutter had come to witness the glorious battle that I was about to commence. Once the bulge of the line had reached its maximum limit I blatantly crammed my way through every cutter, provoking a most astounding noise from the horde of evildoers. Before the group could reassemble and trap me in their midst, I turned towards all the stunned onlookers occupying the second segment of the line. I beckoned them to come and return to their rightful place in the line. Like the brilliant military minds of the past I was utilizing the sorrow of the people to gain power. My bet paid off and some down trodden pupils in second line segment suddenly become bright with hope and launched towards the opening. The attack broke up the mass of cutters, throwing the entire line into disarray. The lunch ladies, the silent watchers of the Cafetorium, were quick to grasp the feeling of rebellion towards the cutters and began serving the rebels, who had, by now, overpowered the cutters and retaken their true place in the line. Strangely enough the rest of the period went slower than usual. It was as if time had slowed to savor my victory over evil. From then on all was right with the universe. Cutters where forever abolished from the line and even to this day students still talk of the time, that was unspecified and meaningless, when the great healer sealed the line that had been cut by the evil of time passed."

Ok, I'm really not the biggest football fan in the world, but a few things that have been going on recently have really disturbed me to the point where it almost makes me sick to watch a game of football. The main cause for my dissapproval has been the grudge that people are still holding against Art Modell for taking the Browns out of Cleveland. Maybe he's a scum-sucking bastard, but it'd be nice for people to just get over it. It's been over 3 years and I'm sick of hearing about it. You'd think that there are better things to talk about.

Super Bowl this year just about killed me in its stupidity. Living near Cleveland, all of my friends and coeworkers were rooting for the Giants; not because they were the supirior team, but because they wanted to see Model burn. I honestly don't see the point in rooting for one team over another, or saying that one doesn't deserve to win (that just about killed me >.<). Sports are supposed to be based on skill, not on opinions or prejudices. I found it extremely humorous when the Giants where flattened, mainly because of all the groans I heard around me. The grudges against Modell have increased ten-fold because he had tried to win. (Oh, the nerve that man had, allowing his team to win. What a jerk)

Honestly, I really think that Cleveland is doing itself a disfavor by still having this sit in their stomachs and rotting. It's time to get over it and find something new to complain about. (how about that George Bush ^_~ electoral college...)
